TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTIES

Our company offers three types of warranties with different characteristics, terms, conditions and costs. It is useful and important that the end customer is aware of and understands the scope of the warranty they selected, in order to protect their interests covered by it.

IMPORTANT
At the time of requesting a warranty claim, it will be mandatory to present proof (payment receipt, order number) of warranty rights.
USAclimax llc is not responsible for total or partial ignorance of the terms and conditions of the warranty, for which it provides the necessary means so that its content is available to our customers.

No unit should be uninstalled, tampered with or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC. If the unit presents problems, regardless of the type of warranty under which it is protected, do not uninstall the unit.
Units uninstalled or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC will automatically be excluded from any type of warranty.

TYPES OF WARRANTY:
* Brand Warranty - applicable only to inverter units.
* Direct warranty - applicable to all units.
* Standard warranty - applicable only to standard units.
TYPES OF UNITS
* Standard units (units less than 14 seer, non-inverter)
* Inverter units (units greater than 14 seer, inverter)

1-BRAND WARRANTY
The brand warranty, as its name indicates, is the warranty offered by the owner of the brand, which is pre-stipulated and published on its website.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Brand Warranty is subject to the terms and conditions of the brand. USAclimax llc has no capacity or authority over it.
The brand warranty requires the timely registration of the unit in its registration system provided by the brand on its website. It is the responsibility of the end customer to register it.
USAclimax llc is not responsible for the omission of registration regardless of the reasons why it has not been done in a timely manner.

BRAND WARRANTY CLAIM MANAGEMENT
Brand Warranty claims will be managed by USAclimax llc within a period of 30 calendar days from the day of purchase including the day itself, only if: the unit was installed by USAclimax llc technical personnel.
This management will include technical personnel service for damage assessment and partial or general replacements in order to achieve the correct operation of the equipment.
If the unit is installed by personnel other than USAclimax llc, then the claim management will be carried out by the client himself for both partial or general replacement of the equipment, as well as for examinations, or partial or general technical services.
Section 3a of this document may be invalidated after an analysis by the service technician and at his own discretion under the following circumstances:
* That the damage or irregularities presented by the equipment are the consequence of some external action or omission, accidental or not.
(vandalism, impacts, damage due to natural phenomena, exposure to corrosive or contaminating elements)
* That the unit has been removed or altered by personnel other than USAclimax llc
* Lack of maintenance (extreme dirt)
* That the unit in question does not match the identification characteristics of the unit purchased (serial number, model, brand, capacity and characteristics)

DIRECT WARRANTY
The Direct Guarantee is a guarantee with a pre-established cost and will be obtained by the client at the time of purchase of the equipment and/or services.
The Direct Guarantee is subject to the terms and conditions pre-established by the service provider USAclimax llc.
This type of guarantee does not require registration by the client, the USACLIMAX staff will register it and send the registration receipt to your email. The client must INFORM THEMSELVES OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SAME. If you do not agree, you must inform the USACLIMAX staff before making the payment of said guarantee. Once you have accepted the terms and conditions, your guarantee coverage will be governed by what is established in the document.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DIRECT WARRANTY.
This warranty will be valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and will be invalidated the day after the date of purchase after 12 months.
It is subject to conditions that, if not met, may invalidate your right.
The cost of its value is not refundable
PROTECTION
Under the protection of this guarantee the client will have the right to:
* request technical assistance at no cost, for partial or general malfunction of the installed equipment at no cost.
* damage evaluation at no cost.
* management of parts and pieces at no cost.
* replacement of parts and pieces at no cost.
* replacement of unit, partial or total, at no cost.
CONDITIONS
USAclimax reserves the right to issue an evaluation on the reason for the damage(s), said evaluation will be subject to the criteria of the service technician who performs the evaluation.
This protection clause covers only damages due to factory defects or installation errors by USAclimax llc service technicians.
This protection does not apply to:
* damages caused by poor execution in the installation of the equipment by personnel other than USAclimax llc.
*damage caused by handling and transportation in vehicles other than USAclimax llc
*damage caused to the unit by external agents, whether intentional or accidental (vandalism or accidents)
*damage caused by environmental phenomena or agents (electrical discharges, corrosive agents, etc.)
*damage caused by improper removal or inexperienced personnel of the equipment, partially or totally.
*damage caused by incorrect use of the equipment, its parts and accessories
*damage caused by partial or general lack of maintenance.

IMPORTANT/CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Mini-split air conditioning units require partial and general maintenance (cleaning filters, deep cleaning) sporadically. Each unit will require this maintenance depending on the degree of exposure to dirt in the environment and it will be the owner's responsibility to ensure its cleaning and proper maintenance.
The lack of proper cleaning and maintenance of a mini split can cause several problems, both in the performance of the equipment and in the quality of the air and in energy consumption. Some of the main damages and consequences are:

1. Poor performance and lower energy efficiency
• Dirty filters and dusty coils reduce cooling capacity.
• The equipment has to work harder, which increases electricity consumption.

2. Increased wear and reduced useful life
• The accumulation of dirt forces the compressor to work harder than necessary.
• It can cause overheating and premature failures in the motor and other components.

3. Health problems and poor air quality
• A dirty mini-split accumulates dust, mold and bacteria that can cause allergies, respiratory problems and bad odors.
• It can generate the proliferation of mites and fungi in the environment.

4. Possible water leaks and damage to the infrastructure
• A drain clogged by dirt can cause drips and accumulation of water on walls or ceilings.
• The humidity generated can deteriorate paint, wood or cause mold.
5. Risk of electrical faults or short circuits
• The accumulation of dust in the circuits and electrical connections can generate faults or even fires in extreme cases.
6. Creation of ice
• The creation and accumulation of ice will generate serious damage.
• Breakages in the fan blades.
• Breakages in the fan heads.
• Obstruction of the drainage paths.
• Leaks into the interior of the room.
• Breakages and fragmentation in functional plastic parts.

To avoid these problems, it is advisable to do a deep cleaning every 3 to 6 months and annual technical maintenance. This helps to prolong the useful life of the equipment, improve efficiency and ensure a healthy environment.

The owner of a mini split unit purchased from usaclimax and covered under the usaclimax Direct Warranty must provide the cleaning and maintenance assistance required for the correct operation of the unit. The minimum maintenance required is at least one per year.
Requests for warranty coverage will require the presentation of an invoice or document proving that the unit had the minimum maintenance required by qualified and certified personnel.
Failure to have proof of the minimum required maintenance will void the rights covered under the usaclimax direct warranty.
It is the customer's responsibility to properly maintain the equipment.

STANDARD WARRANTY
This type of warranty is implicit in the sale value of standard units (less than 14 seer, not inverter)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This warranty covers 30 calendar days counting from the day of purchase.
PROTECTION
*This warranty only covers damage due to factory defects.
*This warranty covers damages due to technical errors in installation only when the installation service has been performed by USAclimax llc technical personnel
CONDITIONS
*USAclimax provides free damage assessment and solution management services when the standard unit has been installed by USAclimax llc service technicians
*For units installed by personnel other than USAclimax llc, technical assistance for damage assessment and solution management will cost $99.99, which will be paid prior to the technician's visit. Additional charges or levies may also be created based on the conditions or special characteristics of the service (distance, heights greater than 8 feet, highly dangerous or difficult access spaces, extreme conditions of the work area)
*Services outside the Tampa city limits will have a transportation levy of $3 dollars per mile.
*After the stipulated 30 days of warranty, any of the situations will be subject to the aforementioned taxes and costs.
*The technical assessment of damages will be strictly subject to the specialized criteria of the service technician and the management of solutions will be carried out based on this opinion.
