TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF WARRANTIES

Important Information! Request information about the warranty terms and conditions before installing any equipment, if necessary.
1. The warranty terms and conditions are subject to the warranty protocol established and published by USAclimax LLC and are irrevocable.
2. USAclimax LLC is a distributor between the brands and the end purchaser. Therefore, each brand is responsible for the equipment warranties, and the customer will process them through the means offered by each brand for this purpose.
3. USAclimax LLC, through its technical staff, will only assist and process warranties if:
a.) The unit was installed by our company's technical staff.
b.) The customer purchased the warranty directly from USAclimax or is subscribed to a USAclimax LLC warranty plan.

USAclimax LLC is not responsible for any partial or complete failure to comply with the warranty terms and conditions.

Our company offers two types of warranties with different features, terms, conditions, and costs. It is important that the end customer knows and understands the scope of the selected warranty to protect their interests.

!! IMPORTANT !!
When requesting a warranty claim, proof of warranty rights (payment receipt, order number) is required.
USAclimax LLC is not responsible for complete or partial ignorance of the terms and conditions of the warranty, and therefore provides the necessary means to make its contents available to our customers.

No unit should be uninstalled, tampered with, or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC. If the unit presents problems, regardless of the type of warranty it is covered by, do not uninstall it.
Units uninstalled or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC will automatically be excluded from any type of warranty.

WARRANTY TYPES:
1- Brand Warranty: Applicable only to inverter units. Requires prior registration and is managed directly between the customer and the brand.

2- Direct Warranty: Applicable to all units. Requires prior purchase of the warranty and is managed directly between the customer and the distributor, USAclimax LLC.

UNIT TYPES
1- Standard units (units under 14 SEER, without inverter technology)
-Applicable only to the USAclimax direct warranty; therefore, it must be purchased at the time of purchase.

2- Inverter units (units over 14 SEER, with inverter technology)
-Applicable to the brand warranty upon registration.
-Applicable to the USAclimax LLC direct warranty upon purchase.

1- BRAND WARRANTY
The brand warranty, as its name suggests, is the warranty offered by the brand owner, which is stipulated in advance and published on its website.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The brand warranty is subject to the brand's terms and conditions. USAclimax LLC has no authority over it.
The brand warranty requires timely registration of the unit in the registration system provided by the brand on its website. It is the end customer's responsibility to register it.
USAclimax LLC is not responsible for failure to register, regardless of the reasons for not completing it in a timely manner.

HANDLING BRAND WARRANTY CLAIMS
USAclimax LLC will handle brand warranty claims within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase, including the day of purchase, only if the unit was installed by USAclimax LLC technical personnel.
This process will include technical assistance for damage assessment and partial or complete replacement of the equipment to ensure its proper functioning.
If the unit is installed by personnel other than USAclimax LLC, the customer will be responsible for managing the claim, both for partial or complete replacement of the equipment, as well as for partial or complete technical inspections or services.
Section 3a of this document may be invalidated after analysis by the service technician, at his or her sole discretion, under the following circumstances:
* If the damage or irregularities in the equipment are the result of some external action or omission, whether accidental or not. (vandalism, impacts, damage from natural phenomena, exposure to corrosive or contaminating elements)
* The unit has been removed or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC
* Lack of maintenance (extreme dirt)
* The unit in question does not match the identification characteristics of the purchased unit (serial number, model, brand, capacity, and features)

DIRECT WARRANTY
The Direct Warranty has a pre-established cost and the customer will obtain it at the time of purchase of the equipment or services.
The Direct Warranty is subject to the terms and conditions pre-established by the service provider, USAclimax LLC.
This type of warranty does not require registration by the customer; USACLIMAX personnel will register it and send proof of registration to the customer's email address. The customer must INFORM THEMSELVES OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. If they do not agree, they must inform USACLIMAX personnel before making payment for the warranty. Once the terms and conditions are accepted, your warranty coverage will be governed by the terms and conditions set forth in the document.

PROTECTION
Under the protection of this warranty, the customer will have the right to:
* Request free technical assistance for partial or general malfunctions of the installed equipment.
* Free damage assessment.
* Free parts and accessories management.
* Free replacement of parts and accessories.
* Free replacement of the unit, partial or total.

DIRECT WARRANTY TERMS.
This warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and will expire on the day following the date of purchase, after 12 months.
It is subject to conditions that, if not met, could invalidate your rights.
The cost of this warranty is non-refundable.

DIRECT WARRANTY CONDITIONS.
1. Technical support and on-site visits will be free of charge only when the equipment has been installed by USAClimax technical personnel and under a signed contract.
2. Technical support and on-site visits will have a cost of $100 (one hundred dollars) for units protected under the USAClimax LLC direct warranty that have been installed by personnel other than USAClimax LLC.
3. No unit may be uninstalled, tampered with, or altered by personnel other than USAClimax LLC. If the unit experiences problems, regardless of the type of warranty it is covered by, do not uninstall it.
Units uninstalled or altered by personnel other than USAclimax LLC will automatically be excluded from any warranty.
4-USAclimax reserves the right to issue an assessment of the cause of the damage. This assessment will be subject to the discretion of the service technician conducting the assessment. This protection clause covers only damage due to manufacturing defects or installation errors by USAclimax LLC.

RECOMMENDATIONS AND TIPS.
1. If you perform installations or services with personnel other than our company, request proof of technical training, such as an EPA license. This information will be requested in the event of a claim.
2. If you perform installations or services with personnel other than our company, request the correct information from the company that will perform the installation. This information will be requested in the event of a claim.
3. Be sure to ask the technician for the terms and conditions of service.
