ZenAire Warranty


This warranty is managed by the seller (USAClimax LLC) within seven calendar days, including the day of purchase; after this period, it will be handled directly with the manufacturer (Team International). USAClimax LLC must provide the contact details to manage this warranty.

This policy applies only to equipment installed in the U.S. For installations outside the U.S., please contact your local ZenAire dealer.


ZenAire Inverter Warranty Registration


  • Compressor: 5 years
  • All other electrical and refrigeration components: 2 years
  • Cabinet components (panels, covers, frames, plates, screws, etc.): 1 year

Upon inspection, if the component is deemed defective, USAClimax LLC will provide a replacement free of charge, with a warranty for the remainder of the original period.

USAClimax LLC is not responsible for labor costs related to the removal, service, or repair of the equipment.

This warranty does not cover failures caused by:

  • Improper installation or operation
  • Corrosion from exposure to chemicals, sea salt, or other corrosive materials
  • Installation of the outdoor unit within 100 feet of salt water
  • Lack of preventative maintenance
  • Use of non-factory original parts for repairs
  • Alterations, modifications, or changes in the original design or operation
  • Vandalism, flood, fire, acts of God, or other events beyond the control of Team International
  • Improper use, continued use of the equipment even in partial malfunction, or incorrect electrical voltage or frequency
  • Use inconsistent with specifications, applications, installation, and operation manuals
  • Facilities that do not comply with applicable building codes, standards, and ordinances


Equipment installation must be carried out by a CERTIFIED AIR CONDITIONING TECHNICIAN; failure to comply with this requirement will automatically void any equipment or product warranty. Team International is not responsible for any personal injury or other damage caused by or related to improper installation of the equipment or installation by a non-certified technician.


To comply with the factory warranty, the end user must present the original invoice from the seller. The original invoice must include the model number, serial number, and date of installation.


Do not sign for a shipped unit until you have thoroughly inspected the products for damage. Any and all visible damage must be noted on the delivery receipt and must not be accepted. You will receive a replacement product if you reject a damaged shipment. By signing the delivery receipt, you agree that the shipment is in good condition and free of damage. The shipper is not responsible for shipments that are not signed for as damaged upon arrival.

Returns for shipping damage to the equipment will not be accepted if USAClimax LLC is not notified within seven days of receipt of the equipment.

No returns will be accepted for failure to start unless claimed by the installer to USAClimax LLC within 30 days of receipt of the equipment.


The manufacturer is solely responsible for providing the factory warranty. The manufacturer will only contact the installation technician or a service technician to determine if the product has a manufacturing defect. The seller is fully responsible for the sale, and any claim by the end user must be made to the seller. Any electrical part given to an end user or technician as part of a claim is not subject to warranty.


All product returns are subject to a restocking fee. In the event of a product return, all products must be returned in their original unopened packaging. If the packaging is opened, the product must be replaced with all accessories included.
