Wholesale Warranty Policy

This policy explains the general warranty framework for products purchased from USACLIMAX LLC. Product-specific or brand-specific written warranty terms control if they differ from this general policy.

Third-Party Brand Warranty

When USACLIMAX LLC sells equipment manufactured or warranted by a third-party brand, the manufacturer's or brand owner's warranty terms apply. Warranty duration, covered parts, registration requirements, exclusions and claim procedures are determined by that brand. Unless a separate written USACLIMAX warranty states otherwise, USACLIMAX LLC is not responsible for expanding the manufacturer's warranty, third-party labor charges, service charges or collateral damage.

Installation by Third Parties

For equipment installed by a third party, the installer and purchaser are responsible for proper installation, sizing, electrical work, refrigerant procedures, commissioning and compliance with manufacturer requirements and applicable codes. Improper installation, unauthorized alteration or misuse may affect warranty eligibility.

USACLIMAX Direct Warranty

Where a purchase expressly includes a USACLIMAX Direct Warranty for installation performed by USACLIMAX LLC technical personnel, that direct coverage is limited to the written terms provided with that warranty. Existing USACLIMAX direct installation coverage is six months from installation and covers covered parts and necessary labor, subject to its exclusions and conditions.

Unauthorized Tampering

When a claim is made under a USACLIMAX direct warranty, the unit must not be uninstalled, tampered with or altered by personnel other than USACLIMAX staff where the applicable direct-warranty terms so require. Unauthorized work may exclude the claim from USACLIMAX direct coverage.

Claims and Documentation

Proof of purchase, order information, model and serial information, installation details and other documentation reasonably required to determine warranty eligibility may be requested. Manufacturer warranty claims may need to be submitted directly to the applicable brand according to its procedures.
